Dorota Meinhardt
She was born in Cracow. She began to learn drawing and painting in the workshop ”Pod Baranami” managed by Ludwik Pindel. She studied painting at The Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow and created her graduation work under the supervision of profes- sor Nowosielski in 1988. Currently, Dorota Meinhardt deals with easel painting and artistic cloth. In 1989 she realised her one-year scholarship in Berlin in the workshop of professor Norbert Tadeusz. In the 90s of the XX century, She managed Kossakówka Art Gallery (Juliusz Kossak Square 4) situated in the residence of the Kossak family in Cracow. She is a member of: The Association of Polish Artists and Designers, The Fine Arts Society in Cracow and ”Group 5” artistic team. She organises individual exhibitions of her works; she participated in several exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Her works are posessed by many art admirers in Poland and abroad e.g. in the USA, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland. Dorota Meinhardt lives and works in Cracow.
